Maria J. Garcia

Ms. Garcia has been a director of Deep Well Oil & Gas Inc since 2018 and currently serves as Chairperson of the Governance and Sustainability Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee.

Ms. Garcia has been President and Chief Executive Officer of ECOS Consulting LLC since 2014. Ms. Garcia served as Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Automotive Research from 2017 to 2022. Ms. Garcia served as Assistant Vice President of Mobility Research and Business Development of Ohio State University from 2015 to 2017. Ms. Garcia was the Senior Vice President, R&D Americas, Nissan North America, Inc. from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that appointment, she held a variety of technical and managerial positions with Nissan Motor Company Limited. Ms. Garcia started her career in 1978 at General Motors Company and held the position of Engineer, Vehicle Test, General Motors Truck & Bus until 1988.

Ms. Garcia currently serves on the Board of Directors of Vesuvius plc (LSE: VSVS) and Advance Auto Parts (NYSE: AAP). Additionally, Ms. Garcia previously served on the Board of Directors for Eve Mobility Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: EVE) from 2023 to February 2024.
